There are many people who are trying to SEO their blog to get organic traffic from search engines.
Wouldn’t you want a little more help? That’s what these plugins are for. These can definitely help you increase some SERPs if you know how to use theme.

Here is my personal list of useful SEO related plugins.

AIO SEO Pack - The all in one SEO pack, creates meta tags, rewrites titles to make them more suitable for search engines and more. Best of all it is compatible with many other SEO plugins. I would really suggest this plugin if you are somewhat interested in SEO.

XML Sitemap Generator - Why don’t you just make it easier for search engines to crawl your site? It lists all the pages from your site. Works with MSN, Yahoo, Ask, Google and more.

SEO Slugs - Are your URL slugs too long? SEO Slug removes unwanted letters from the URL like “a”, “in”, “the” from the URL. Example: /how_to_climb_the_serps_over_the_competition to /climb_serps_over_competition.

Ultimate Tag Warrior - This plugins adds the feature to add tags to every post and page. Tags can be used to search through posts.

HeadSpace 2 - Another good plugin that lets you rewrite title, meta tags and much more. Check out the video for all the features.

Cross-Linker - Hyperlinks certain keywords so they can point to a specific post. For example, if you type in “seo blogs”, it will hyperlink that to point to a blog post of your choice.

SEO Title Tag 2.3.2 - A very good plugin, has many features including overwriting titles, custom 404 pages, handle searches and much more. Click on the link to see all the features.

Well, that’s my list. I will update this post if I find more.

For some of the people that do not know, GoDaddy is giving out domain names just for $1.99!
That’s a steal right? Only one thing, one per account, I am not persuading anyone to do this, but you can make another account and get another $1.99 domain.

Coupon is
199TEST

This coupon has been up for a little over a week.
Use it while it works.

What keywords are right for you?

Like everyone, you might be wondering what keywords are good for you. You must always look for less competitve keywords, but they must be searched quite often on Search Engines.

These are great tools to find the right keywords for you.
Keyword Discovery Tool
Adwords Keyword Tool
SEOBook Keyword Tool

An example is picking the keywords “make money”, now that will be nearly impossible to take good SERPs, pick something similar to it that you think or know is less competitive, for example “make free money online”.

I would recommend the Adwords Tool, you can also check the Cost Per Click for the keyword(s).

In conclusion, always use less competitive keywords, but pick some that get searched frequently.

Remember, Keyword Efficiency Index (KEI). KEI= (number of searches, monthly)^2/number of competition. If you get a number of 100 or more, then it is somewhat a good keyword, the higher number, the best keyword(s).
