.edu get backlinks list

.edu backlinks are extremely usefull because in most cases they have tons of backlinks themselves, meaning that the power of 1 .edu backlink could be equal to tens/hundreads/thousands of other backlinks, but do not forget the other important factor when looking for a backlink: relevancy.

Many people think that Google or other search engines does give some amount of importance to these .edu and .gov links.

.edu domains seem to have better backlinks or that .edu domains have a greater importance value by Google it really doesn’t matter. They are worth more either way. I tend to think that google gives more importance to .Edu domains.

They are like radioactive oversized cherries… if you secure a .edu with a high PR (I know it doesn’t matter but the higher the PR the more “trusted” in this case) and use your keyword in the anchor… you’ll see a major jump in a a few weeks…

Some people think that .edu or .gov backlinks has no more wieght than other, the only thing left to do is give it a try.

Here is a list with .edu domains where you could put your links:

I found it quite curious that the seochat.com moderators deleted the link to this page saying: Only moderators are entitled to the “secret” list. That forum acts so high and mighty sometimes with regards to white hat but deep down their probably just a bunch of spammers themselves.

Interesting, but I’ve checked some of them, and some don’t work, other don’t allow registration. You should take care of your list, or refresh it.
